John J. Pandos brings more than four decades of investigative experience to Strategic Capability Group, the Marin County firm he founded to serve criminal defense attorneys, civil litigators, and private clients who demand absolute discretion.

His career spans the full arc of complex investigative practice — from foundational fieldwork under a former director of the Suffolk County Investigate and Prosecute Unit to directing multi-jurisdictional matters involving homicide defense, organized crime, public corruption, and environmental liability at the highest levels of litigation.

Pandos has conducted thousands of investigative hours in support of criminal defense counsel, product liability litigation, EPA Superfund site liability matters, tobacco litigation, and medical malpractice cases. He is equally at home working directly with lead trial counsel on evidentiary strategy as directing sensitive field operations requiring the utmost operational security.

Where others bring investigators, SCG brings a principal — licensed, experienced, and accountable from intake through resolution.
